Aconteceu em Oeiras a Comic Con Portugal, e foram 4 dias intensos para quem adora o mundo paralelo da cultura pop. Ficção cientifica, cinema, banda desenhada, anime, ilustração, literatura, cosplay, música, gaming, pop Asia, new media e merchandising.

Comic Con Portugal happened in Oeiras and it were 4 intense days for those who love the parallel world of pop culture. Science fiction, cinema, comics, anime, illustration, literature, cosplay, music, gaming, pop Asia, new media and merchandising.

Nestes 4 dias fantásticos, o público teve acesso a conferências com personalidades como Mark Waid ilustrador de super heróis para a Marvel, Maurício Sousa o criador da Turma da Mónica, Nicholas Hoult o Beast dos X-Men, entre muitos outros. Na Artists Alley também pode ver de perto o trabalho e falar com imensos ilustradores e artistas, como por exemplo Patrícia Furtado, Luis Figueiredo, Joana Afonso, Daniel Henriques, Uma Joana, Nuno Plati ou Jacky Filipe.

In these fantastic 4 days, the public had access to conferences with celebrities such as Mark Waid illustrator of super heroes for Marvel, Maurice Sousa the creator of Monica's Gang, Nicholas Hoult the Beast of X-Men, among many others. At Artists Alley we could also see the work closely and talk to many illustrators and artists, such as Patrícia Furtado, Luis Figueiredo, Joana Afonso, Daniel Henriques, Uma Joana, Nuno Plati or Jacky Filipe.

Um dos ilustradores da Artists Alley. Jacky Filipe, que começou a desenhar muito novo, entrou em Artes no 9ªAno, tirou Artes Visuais na escola Eça de Queirós na Póvoa do Varzim, de seguida licenciou-se em Artes Plásticas pela Faculdade de Belas Artes do Porto, e está neste momento a tirar um mestrado em Desenho pela mesma Faculdade. É grande fan da Marvel, Star Wars, DC Comics, e vai lançar em Outubro, na revista H-alt no Amadora BD, a sua primeira banda desenhada com texto e ilustração de sua autoria, em que o pano de fundo é a inovação tecnológica, em Outubro.

One of Artists Alley illustrators. Jacky Filipe, who started to draw very young, entered Arts at the 9th Year, took Visual Arts at Eça de Queirós school in Póvoa do Varzim, then graduated in Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto, and is currently Master's Degree in Design by the same Faculty. He is a big fan of Marvel, Star Wars, DC Comics, and will launch in October, in the magazine H-alt in Amadora BD, his first comic strip with text and illustration of his authorship, in which the background is the technological innovation.

Jogos de tabuleiro, gaming, workshops, activações dos próximos filmes da Disney como O Regresso de Mary Poppins ou O Quebra Nozes e os Quatro Reinos, casting de vozes, merchandising, lojas como a Kingpin, ou a O Tom Certo com um espaço dedicado à experimentação de materiais de artes com canetas Sakura ou com os marcadores Winsor&Newton, a criatividade do mundo do cosplay, a cabeça do dragão da Guerra dos Tronos, rechearam este Festival do Pop.

Board games, gaming, workshops, activations of upcoming Disney films such as The Return of Mary Poppins or The Nutcracker and The Four Kingdoms, voice casting, merchandising, stores like Kingpin, or O Tom Certo with a space dedicated to experimenting with Sakura pens or the Winsor & Newton markers, the creativity of the cosplay world, the dragon head of the War of the Thrones, filled this Festival of Pop.

Neste espaço era possível experimentar vários materiais e desenhar em folhas de papel com diferentes texturas. In this space it was possible to experiment with various materials and draw on sheets of paper with different textures.

Serg Loki, de 28 anos, russo, mais concretamente de Moscovo, famoso no mundo do cosplay pelo seu Rei dos Elfos, Thranduil, do filme O Hobbit, e pelo Locki do filme Thor da Marvel, foi um dos convidados especiais para esta edição da Comic Con Portugal. Começou a fazer cosplay há 9 anos, e há 2 tornou-se famoso. Na sua perspectiva porque soube escolher bem as personagens. Serg, no seu dia a dia trabalha como Cosplay Designer, sendo que também é responsável pelas suas próprias roupas. Para Serg, o cosplay é divertido, embora neste momento também seja trabalho árduo. "É muito interessante escolher as personagens e depois desenvolver toda a sua imagem, sinto-me também um criador."

Serg Loki, 28, Russian, more specifically from Moscow, famous in the cosplay world for his Elven King, Thranduil, from the movie The Hobbit, and Locki from the film Thor by Marvel, was one of the special guests for this edition of Comic Con Portugal. He started cosplaying for 9 years, and in 2, he became famous. In his perspective because he knew how to choose the characters well. Serg, in his day to day, works as Cosplay Designer, being also responsible for his own clothes. For Serg, cosplay is fun, although at the moment it's also hard work. "It is very interesting to choose the characters and then develop their entire image, I also feel like a creator."
